Accessible by 1h30 walk, opposite Puy Griou, the buron de la Fumade is one of the simplest and most convivial of all.

Located in the upper Cère valley, between Saint-Jacques-des-Blats and Thiézac, the Buron de la Fumade Vieille brings you closer to Cantalien adventure. The hike to get there is well worth the detour, even if it is steep at first. Once over the pass, the effort is rewarded with a breathtaking view of the majestic Cantal mountains. The buron, which sits on the side of the mountain, is a real gem of rural heritage, and a must-see.
