CHURCH
Built in the xiith century, it preserved its original original appearance. The church was in fact the chapel of Belcastel Castle, destroyed during the Revolution and only the tower of stairs remains. It has a unique two-span nef, double roller arches at the choir and abside level. Without transept, she has a dome on tubes. Its niches forming niches are typically Sanfloraine, the polylobon arcades of the bedside, recalling rather the Velay buildings. In addition to its painted decoration, it is adorned with more than twenty carved capitals. Both inside and outside, a recurring theme: the fight of the vice. The latter is illustrated by classical characters: Griffin, sirens, overturned animals, lions, man, naked woman, snake, eagles. Stylized foliages, balls and interlaces complement the decorative repertoire. See you.
