Close to Saint-Flour, Roffiac invites you to take a break. Park in the small car park in front of the church and take the time to observe. In front of you stands a tower almost 25 metres high next to the religious monument, the only remains of the Belcastel castle. The exact date of construction is not known, but Guillaume de Roffiac already refers to 1223. The complex has recently been the subject of a renovation campaign. From the square starts a hiking trail leading to the dolmen of Védernat, located on the basalt plateau overlooking the village, and offering beautiful views of the Planèze and the Cantal mountains.
