Restored and maintained by passionate volunteers, the fort houses the Colonial Museum and the School Museum.

Fort Rapp-Moltke in Reichstett has been restored by enthusiasts for the history of Strasbourg's fortified belt and the conservation of local heritage. These militaria enthusiasts have been restoring and maintaining the Reichstett Fort for several years. Several rooms have been refurbished, as have features such as the bascule bridge. The site is home to two museums: the Musée de la Coloniale and the Musée de l'École. Volunteers will take you on a tour of the different rooms and teach you all about these objects steeped in history.
