Zotcar is a private car rental service offering an alternative to traditional rental agencies. The principle is simple: car owners on Reunion Island can make their cars profitable when they're not using them, by renting them out to private individuals. The only condition is that you must be over 23 years of age and hold a three-year driving license. Cars are insured against all risks by MAIF, with a deductible, as with a conventional rental company.
