You can visit this artisan who works the scale (from breeding turtles only: like the other members of the Coopérative des métiers d'art de Bourbon, it derives its raw material from a legal point of view in a reserve formed prior to the signing of the Washington Convention in 1984, which prohibits the artisanal exploitation of turtle scale) and Indian ocean materials (natural pigments, mother-in-pearl, carapace of swordfish, etc.). Among other things, this passionate artisan of semi-precious stones, boxes, mirrors, lighting and jewellery.
