This is the story of a family that has been growing vanilla for 4 generations. In the 1850s, Reunion Island was the cradle of vanilla development, but this tradition is disappearing. So in three quarters of an hour, you can discover all the stages: from the planting of the orchid plant to the sale, through the harvesting and packing of the beans in the workshop. At the end, you will be able to buy this famous black gold and why not learn how to plant it at home.

Je recommande vivement cette plantation de vanille, peu touristique, et très agréable. Les explications sont données avec passion et leur vanille est excellente ! bien moins cher que dans les "usine" à touriste type escale bleue... bref, foncez !

Vanilla Rouloff Farm Discovery Located on Deschanets Road in Saint-Andre, this vanilla is quite difficult to find. The staff were very helpful and helpful. The son's explanations are clear and precise with numerous demonstrations (for example pollination). We finish the visit with a small participation of 3 euros. Sale in store of many products with a somewhat high rate. The rate is finally related to the only manual work requested. In time, we were far from thinking that the culture and the harvest of vanilla required so much care and manipulation. We have also discovered passionate producers.

J'ai vraiment adoré cette visite. Toute petite entreprise familiale où ils sont 5 à travailler. La dame explique tout , c'est fantastique, vraiment. Les produits proposés à la petite boutique sont d'une qualité exceptionnelle.
