Open 7 days a week. 3 formulas to visit the lava tunnels of 2004 on the route des laves in Sainte-Rose, from 50 € and accessible from 5 years old. For the famous Blue Tunnel located in Le Tampon, accessible from 12 years old, visit on reservation on Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday. Please book 2 to 3 weeks in advance during school vacations.

Nous avons visité le tunnel bleu avec rudy comme guide, ancien sismologue. Autant vous dire qu'il vous apportera une mine d'information. Notre fils passe son oral du brevet sur les volcans de la reunion, je peux vous dire que rudy s'est fait plaisir à lui apporter pleins de connaissance. Concernant le tunnel bleu il est juste splendide. Le fait de limiter les visites et les visiteurs pour la préservation du site est un gros +++. Sinon aucune difficultés particulière, un peu de passage à quatre pattes mais nous sommes équipé et ça se fait super bien. Le bonus, le chant maloya dans le tunnel de lave, j'en ai encore des frissons. La boisson offerte à la fin pour clôturer ce beau moment magique. A faire ou refaire sans hésitation.

Extraordinaire découverte du tunnel de lave bleu grâce à Rudy, notre monitor. Rudy a su nous montrer l'importance de ce tunnel au niveau mondial. Il nous a également expliqué chaque formation d'un point de vue scientifique qui fut très agréable intellectuellement. Ce tunnel est magnifique ! Je recommande fortement !
