When there aren't many people, time seems to be suspended at the Joncs pond. When the sun is a little higher, it makes the water surface glisten. Carp, eels, tilapia: the fish frolic. The central jets of water and the surrounding mountains almost give the impression of being in Switzerland. Swimming is not allowed here, but you can sail on pedal or electric boats or go for a walk around. Restaurants and snack bars surround the pond and offer an ideal view of the small pond for a relaxing moment.

Après une journée de marche, lieu idéal pour se reposer devant une
" dodo" la bière locale. Entouré de montagnes, ce lieu est une aubaine à qui sait admirer ce paysage exceptionnel.

MARE AT JONCS Cilaos This is a large body of water located a little outside the city. We're completely in the circus of Cilaos with magical reflections on the lake. This place is very lively with its hiking path and the many restaurants. Possibility to engage in water activities: pedal, kayaks etc. A beautiful aquatic vegetation with a lot of birds. A nice and quiet place.

Très joli plan d'eau où il fait bon se promener ou faire un petit tour de bateau électrique. Si vous avez un peu de temps, il y a des citations à lire tout autour. Belle vue dégagée sur les sommets qui entourent le cirque.
