In the small alley that runs alongside the church of Saint-Henri, in the heart of the village of Anses-d'Arlet, Panier Madras is a pretty yellow and green Creole hut located just a few steps from the sea. The store offers a selection of fruits, vegetables, and seeds (mainly from Martinique and sometimes from elsewhere), but also drinks and other nibbles before going to the nearby beach. On Sundays, you can even buy homemade black pudding, of which the reputation has spread all over the village. We highly recommend them.
