In this magical setting, the Ferme des Orchidées focuses on the finest French gastronomy. A cozy and discreet lounge bar, with subdued lighting, two large wooden cabins separated by a beautiful pool set the tone… The menu is based on the market and changes every week. Here, the foie gras is homemade, the salmon smoked on the spot, the beef filet melting as you wish and their specialty, the fish, or meat pots with flambé of your choice! A gourmet address to remember.

Logeant à l'hôtel la'Fregate bleue, nous avons choisi ce restaurant en raison de sa proximité, et avons gouté à la spécialité de la maison, à savoir la Potence, des morceaux de viandes ou de poissons accrochés à une potence et flambés au rhum pour les uns et au whisky pour les autres, avec du riz (un peu sec, pas beaucoup de sauce). Plat original mais pas transcendant...prix trop élevés. Service un peu familier pour un restaurant se disant gastronomique.

Restaurant situé dans un lieu reculé au François dans un cadre magnifique. Idéal pour un cocktail entourée de plante en tout genre. Seul problème : la ferme dès orchidée est située juste à côté de la distillerie du Simon, donc selon la période, l'odeur peut être dérangeante.
