PALMETUM DE GUYANE

Since 2011, the Palmétum has gradually become the botanical reference for palm trees. It is also dedicated, more specifically, to the study and preservation of the region's palms. Its expertise and the quality of its collections are recognized worldwide. Ideally located between Cayenne and Kourou, it is the first garden in French Guiana to hold both the "Collection Nationale" and "Jardin Remarquable" labels. The guided tour is a very interesting way of discovering the more than 800 remarkable species scattered along this botanical trail.
