Tony Prudent, originally from Martinique and now a native of Marie-Galante, offers direct sales of beehive products (royal jelly, honey, propolis, pollen, mead, candles). Her honey has the authentic flavor of honey produced and harvested on the island of Marie-Galante. It has already earned him a gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole de la Foire de Paris in 2015 for Campêche honey in the light tropical honey category. Tours and workshops are available for groups, but must be booked in advance.

Le Rucher de l'île à base pas manquer
Nous sommes passés par hasard devant le Rucher de l'île. Nous avons acheté un miel délicieux, le miel de Campêche. En outre c'est l'apiculteur lui-même qui nous a vendu son produit, un homme extrêmement sympathique qui a répondu à toutes nos questions. Dommage que nous n'avions plus trop de place dans nos bagages car nous en aurions acheté davantage.
