Le plus bel élément architectural de cette partie de la Guadeloupe est là. Le Fort Delgrès est un mastodonte de roc et d'architecture posé sur les hauteurs de l'entrée de Basse Terre. On y sent un fort parfum d'histoire lié à la domination Française dans cette partie de la Caraïbes, mais aussi des récits de piraterie et d'esclavage. Un élément incontournable du patrimoine guadeloupéen à voir et à découvrir.
