Arriving in 1974 at the age of 20 in the Maurienne, Francesco Gallo, known as Inis, fell under the spell of the colours that surround him. Deep blues, reds, ochres that he handles for a contemporary painting. His paintings speak of his childhood memories, of the mountains here, of the skies of the Bauges tormented by purple and grey. His paintings are scattered all over the world. A recognized talent who remains attached to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, Inis opens her first gallery there. Two more will follow in Châtelard-en-Bauges and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
