On the edge of the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park lies a vineyard that enjoys generous sunshine. For four generations, the Quenard family has been cultivating vines on the rocky slopes of Toméry. Between 300 and 400 meters above sea level, on steep slopes of over 40%, they produce red, white and rosé wines of rare originality. Jacquère, altesse, roussanne, gamay, mondeuse, pinot noir, persan and malvoisie are just some of the grape varieties cherished by the passionate Michel and his son Guillaume, who joined them in 2009.

At the heart of the Tours de Chignin lies the 6-hectare estate. For these enthusiasts, wine transcends its simple essence to become a true philosophy of life. Their farming practices follow the rigorous principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. Their approach emphasizes the importance of the human element, favoring ancestral methods such as manual pruning and harvesting, as well as ploughing with horses.

At the heart of the scree of Mount Granier on one of the oldest vineyards of Savoy, Christophe Perret, a wine grower collecting on one of the smallest plots of the Appellation, invites us to discover on site all the subtleties of the tasting and, in the open air. This wine-growing enthusiast can also arrange initiations and conferences on demand here and elsewhere in France.

Located in Chignin, Savoie, La Combe des Grandes Vignes is a winery offering tastings and sales of Savoy wines. The Savoy wines on offer are vinified without sulfur, and aged for long periods in vats, barrels or amphoras. White wines, such as Chignin, Chignin-Bergeron and Roussette, are characterized by fruity notes balanced by a minerality specific to each parcel. Red wines, such as Mondeuse and Persan, offer expressions of red fruit and spice with a fine, tannic structure. La Combe des Grandes Vignes is a family estate that has been converted to organic and biodynamic farming. Visitors can also buy the wines online or from partner wine merchants throughout France.
