For more than years, the C.I.V.S. has committed itself to defending this magnificent region by taking action to preserve viticulture, notably by promoting the wines of Savoy and by studying their markets. Today, it comprises the three name defence unions and the trade union of wine traders in the sector. Its role is very important and is very active in many manifestations, and these are, for example, the most representative examples: the Savoy Wine Trophies, an official competition that allows the best wines of each vintage every year in April. A wine circuit in Savoy gives tourists the opportunity to browse three loop circuits to discover the complexity of vineyards.
