THE GIANT FIRST FIRST

From Tarentaise by taking the direction of Saint-Genest-Malifaux, we come across the Pont Sauvignet at the bottom of the valley occupied by the Furan. In addition to the departures of hike, it is here that is indicated the Giant Fir. Born in the 17th century under Louis XV, it reaches a height of 43.40 m and its circumference exceeds 4.32 m.
