In the middle of a preserved nature, almost wild between the ponds that are the landscape of the Forez Plain, La Cotonne is the fruit of shared passions for horse riding and gastronomy. In this magical place, a country inn with a bucolic and romantic atmosphere, we come, to two in love, to family with children or groups (reception room up to 180 people), to rediscover the taste of "real things". Old horse boxes have been transformed into an extraordinary dining room. Exposed stones, objects around the horse, beautiful fireplace in winter and tables well placed. A mixture of rustic and elegant elegance "farmer farmer", of the best effect. Side kitchen, slate choice according to season market and inspiration from head: bowl in old - and when you say bowl, it is that the whole bowl in its mould is put on the table! -, goose rillettes and toast, Bourgogne snails, delicious chicken liver cake and forest, grilled pig foot, whole duck magret… A table with gourmet accents in the area where homemade, classic desserts offer an original presentation.

Amateurs of artisanal cuisine can only indulge in this address, which combines the tradition of Lyon with that of Forez! If a gourmet menu is available permanently, you will also find several reasons to indulge in gourmandise sin. Foie gras baked homemade, chicken liver cake, roast breaded pig foot and special speciality, veal head gribiche sauce! It's a treat! If you really want to get an idea of, cuisine, this restaurant is all about doing it! The dessert is also a pleasant moment with vanilla baked cream or chocolate lukewarm soft. From A to Z, there is no bad surprise, Saltoise Base is an establishment to know!
