Things to see and do Saint-Marcel-De-Félines

The municipality of Saint Marcel-de-Feline is well known for its rich heritage, situated at the foothills of the Morning and Beaujolais Mountains. It kept the character of a village of yesteryear. See the oratory dedicated to the Virgin on the road of Néronde. It was the Laffay family that built it in recognition following an event in Lourdes during one of their pilgrimages. Saint-Marcel-de-Feline is an old village facing the Forez Mountains. The castle blends perfectly into its heart, close to the square and the church and on its edge along the hills and valleys. The castle of Saint-Marcel is an ancient house whose origin dates back to the th century and which underwent transformation after the Middle Ages, only in the th and th centuries, restored in an Italian Renaissance style that gives it its current appearance.
