POLE VAULT

The large covers characterize the region. In square shape, they are distinguished by their large roof in four areas, one very short on the front, and by their wooden structure filled with various materials (silex, etc.). They are multifunctional buildings, bringing together, under the same roof, the spaces attached to men, animals and storage, and mostly dating from the th or early th centuries. The Boom Cover invites you to an original visit. For 2 €, you will follow "the Merle", old peddlers who will evoke you, in patois, the country of Charlieu of his youth: people, trades and seasons. He will also tell you his legends and stories that exchange at the vigil. From the Devil Bridge to Barthéyeu-la-Greneuille, laughter is never far from mystery… The image, sound and light thus make up a pleasant revival of the past.
