If, in the popular imagery, the donkey is often depicted as stupid or stubborn, the equidae has an enormous sympathy rating, it is a pet and a service animal. Thus, with this in mind, the municipality of Farnay has created its donkey festival which attracts a very large audience. This event has become the family outing not to be missed on May^1st.
