WELL

After the well dug in 1882 for the Maison du Bureau de Bienfaisance, the municipal council is harassed by the population of the village. Indeed, the lack of water is increasingly penalising the inhabitants of the village. The municipal council then unanimously decided to entrust the construction of a public well to an architect of Roanne. Work will begin in 1885. This water sink situated on the Church square has the particularity of being as deep as the church bell is high, about 25 m.
