VAUGIRARD CASTLE

Located a few kilometers from Montbrison, Château de Vaugirard, listed as a historic monument dating back to the seventeenth century. On the first floor, a large French ceiling room fully painted in grisaille presents a war and victory in Roman antiquity. The wooden fireplace painted with a high quality of execution is carved with heads of children and trophies. The walls are adorned with six riders or riders, including Louis XIV and his brother. Realized in the middle of the nineteenth century, these paintings, nature grandeur, immortalize Louis XIV's celebration to celebrate the birth of the dolphin.
