In Vaujany, springtime offers a quieter atmosphere to discover the joys of snow sports in the mountains. This is the time for children and adult beginners to learn to ski during group lessons or private lessons! And for those who are used to it, the pretty village of Isère offers to join the slopes of Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski and the domain of Oz / Vaujany. It's hard to resist the desire to go down the Fare slope, a black slope that is a must in the Alps, which can be done alone or after following the Tunnel and Rousses slopes. Crossing the Alpette at Lake Besson, Montfrais and its viewpoints or the Chemin des Combes with your family, several options allow you to contemplate nature in a gentle way. It is always exciting to spend the day on the slopes and in the heart of nature. But it is also important to think about bad weather and après-ski time. For this, the Pôle Sports et Loisirs de Vaujany offers families and groups of friends the opportunity to spend a few hours at the pool, with a view of the Grandes Rousses massif. Children's area, slide, waterfall... the pleasure is there. Not to be missed either, the ice rink. In addition to being able to slide freely during the day, it comes alive in the evening during musical sessions or field hockey matches of the local team, Les Grizzlys de Vaujany. The bowling alley is located in the same building as the ice rink, for a relaxing moment at night in a colorful and modern setting.

5- Take advantage of cultural spaces

Weather a little too temperamental, a desire to relax with the family in the evening? The Vaujany cinema has 120 seats and welcomes inhabitants and spring vacationers in a friendly setting. During the day, the Espace Musée de Vaujany offers an immersive discovery to learn more about the fauna and flora of the territory, the heritage, the local history and the challenges of tomorrow. Not to be missed either, the professional flight simulator that invites you to put yourself in the shoes of a pilot and fly over the Grandes Rousses massif! In another theme, the EDF Hydrelec Museum lets you discover the adventure of water becoming electricity. And parents and children are always welcome at the media library to consult or borrow books for adults and children, comics, audio books or DVDs.

6- Delight your taste buds with the local gastronomy

What would a spring vacation in Vaujany be without enjoying the local gastronomy? Go to the Crêpe'Rit for delicious pancakes or to the small family restaurant Le Vyonnais to try croque-monsieur that are as original as they are tasty, always using good mountain ingredients. How about eating in an unusual atmosphere? La Téléca'dine offers an original concept: board a gondola for a dinner suspended in the air with a view of the wonderful nature that surrounds the resort of Vaujany. 7- Participation in a free unusual activity

The mountain is a space conducive to relaxation. An invitation to look, listen and feel. During spring vacations in the resort of Vaujany, an initiation to Snow Yoga is offered free of charge to all those who wish to enjoy a moment of zen, in a breathtaking natural setting. A moment to feel all the benefits of yoga in a mountain environment, accessible to beginners as well as to regulars. The registration is done from Sunday during the welcome drink, then at the tourist office the following days, according to availability. The activity is supervised by a professional every Tuesday at 10:30 am.

Days on the slopes or on the hiking trails can make your muscles a little sore. Don't worry, the resort of Vaujany offers the possibility to get a massage while testing the Brazilian method Renata França with lymphatic drainage, remodeling and face massage, supervised by a professional. There are also spas open to the public. The spas of La Fare, V de Vaujany and La Perle await skiers and non-skiers in their relaxing bubble with swimming pool, jacuzzi, hammam, sauna and à la carte treatments. The best way to regain energy for the next day's activities.

9- Discover Eisstock and curling, unusual sports

The Vaujany skating rink offers the opportunity to discover a sport that has become an Olympic discipline since the 1924 Olympic Games in Chamonix: curling! But also Eisstock, considered as the petanque on ice. Meet us every Monday from 7:30 pm to 9 pm at the ice rink to test your sense of precision and strategy. As a reminder, curling is a practice that consists in placing granite stones as close as possible to the "house", a target drawn on the ice. A sport that is practiced in teams. The activity is possible from 12 years old, with registration from Sunday during the welcome drink, then at the tourist office the following days, according to availability.

10- Follow the program of cultural activities throughout the week

Preferring to ski in the spring in the family resort of Vaujany also means taking advantage of diverse, varied and free cultural activities. The website www.vaujany.com lists all the information you need to know about the readings for children at the media library; the bird feeder workshop in front of the Vaujany museum; the Cascade de Livres festival, which takes place from April 5 to 8, also at the media library, or the guided tours of the village.
