Petit Futé's opinion on ROCHER DE CARLAT
Equipped with an augmented reality headset, travel back in time to the heart of a 15th century citadel reconstructed in 3D.
The Rocher de Carlat offers a real journey back in time, in the heart of a citadel reconstructed in 3D. Armed with an augmented reality headset, you will plunge into the 15th century on a 2 hectare basalt plateau where palaces, ramparts, towers, a church and stables were deployed... It was home to Jacques d'Armagnac and Queen Margot, before Henri IV had it demolished. Today, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco is the owner of the place. Here, small and great history mingle. 15 minutes walk from the car park.
