The Puy Courny, a hill that is inseparable from the Aurillac landscape, dominates the city at 761 meters. It offers a magnificent panorama of the whole town and the Cantalien massif. This corner of the countryside is intelligently highlighted thanks to an educational path to the summit. The route is marked out with thematic markers on nature and landscapes. A booklet, available at the tourist office, proposes a quiz to children. Be careful, even if the hike starts in town, good shoes are recommended.
