La Mangoune, an Occitan word, means the day of the preparation of the pig, experienced as a festival in the heart of winter in the mountains of Haute-Auvergne. It is the name chosen by Jean-François Roche, some twenty years ago, to create a chain of 100% Auvergne breweries. You will have understood that everything here breathes Auvergne, the decoration reminding the interior of the farms and the cooking, of course, with the truffade, the pounti, the stuffed cabbage, the delicatessen and the beef. And for this too, the establishment trusts local producers.

Restaurant au décor rétro original qui nous a plu; et surtout nous y avons mangé une bonne cuisine auvergnate de terroir. Le temps d'attente a été court et le personnel à nos petits soins. Une adresse à essayer impérativement!

Les employés sont sympas mais visiblement stressés et doivent pousser à la consommation ; on se sent d'emblée comme une vache à lait.
La carte met en avant des produits locaux qui sont malheureusement mal cuisinés : effiloché de Salers indistinguable d'un boeuf bourguignon de charolaise (avec sauce lyophilisée) , truffade aux patates à l'eau et fromage caoutchouteux et sans goût, saucisse de porc sèche et sans aucun moelleux.
Lorsqu'on exprime sa déception, ce n'est bien sur pas leur faute mais bien les fournisseurs apparemment: "vous n'avez pas aimé ? Et bien nous le dirons à nos artisans ".
Aucun geste commercial évidemment.
Adresse à éviter donc.
