While all tourists go to the Aravis or other Alpine mountains, Annecy has a much closer ski resort (between 20 and 30 min of the city centre). We ski at Au since the 1969 th century, but it really is in, under the impetus of Charles Bosson, mayor of Annecy, that was born the ski resort of Du. The history of this station is strewn with obstacles, the first of which is often the lack of snow at an altitude of "average" (altitude max 1 700 m in the Crêt de Chatillon). Nevertheless, today, the Station station - 18 tracks, 10 ski lifts - continues to offer a pleasant family offer, far from the hustle and bustle of the big resorts, with packages at the price of soft prices. Alpine skiing, but also Nordic skiing, toboggan, snowshoes and many other activities in summer (summer toboggan, Runix, Blackmountain… and of course hiking).
