You can not notice the charm of the historic Buet Hotel, just a few steps from the train station. This large building made of stone and wood has been in the hands of the Chamel family for over 120 years. In the shadow of the imposing Oreb mountain - or Needille Mousse - and no less threatening Cornes de Loriaz, the hotel du Buet welcomes hikers and tourists to Vallorcine in an authentic and warm atmosphere. Whether it's time for a walk on the Vallon de Bérard reserve or for an ascent of Mount Buet, the hotel is an excellent starting point for lovers of nature. Of course, some of the rooms do not have showers or bathtubs or even the washbasin in the room. But for the price, we can hardly ask better. Unbeatable. And then the hotel also offers a terrace and garden, relaxing in summer, as well as a lovely stone fireplace with a coat painted by vallorcin, appreciable in winter. The table cannot be complete without the good-value bar and restaurant, with fresh products on site. Advice for pure hikers less concerned about the spas of the valley than its natural beauties.
