A partir des photos mais aussi des outils, objets et témoignages collectés, l’exposition permanente lève le voile sur la vie à Taninges d’hier à aujourd’hui : la vie sociale, les salaisons, la fabrication de vêtements de protection, les métiers du bois (ébénisterie, menuiserie et charpenterie), le métier de taillandier et l’évocation des nombreux artifices hydrauliques, établis le long des biefs créés par l’homme (chocolaterie, diamanterie...).
