Cascade du Rouget with a jump of nearly 70 m at Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval with a pot dug in the rock at its upper level.
A magnificent waterfall, a must-see if you're visiting the Giffre Valley. Nicknamed "The Queen of the Alps", this nearly 70-metre-high waterfall can be identified by its two arms that separate from the main one. Very abundant after the rains, the waterfall changes with the seasons and the weather. Easily accessible (by car in summer), the site is very busy. You can get away from the crowds by taking the surrounding paths, which offer new views of this pretty waterfall. In winter, the closed road makes way for walkers.
