The Friends of Viuz-Faverges have a contagious passion! Its members devote thousands of hours each year to the preservation of the history and culture of the canton of Faverges and the Savoie. They have carried out archaeological excavations on the site of the Thovey thermal baths and have succeeded in setting up a museum, based on the treasures unearthed from these remains, which the association manages. It has many archived documents and regularly organises conferences and visits. It animates the heritage sites of Faverges and the Pays de Faverges, Sources du Lac d'Annecy by numerous guided tours with the help of its approved Savoie Mont Blanc Heritage Guides: the Archaeological Museum of course, but also the Donjon of Faverges. "L'Âme des Villages" introduces you to the heritage and culture of Cons-Sainte-Colombe and the boilermakers, Verthier and its painters and an agricultural village like Seythenex or Saint-Ferréol. The "Tour du Pays de Faverges", a visit of 6 places in half a day - for groups only. This is a very active association!
