A superb establishment with completely renovated rooms offering a cuisine with local accents.
Completely refurbished in a warm, modern style in 2021, Martin Devictor, the new owner, is extending the history of this must-see accommodation and regaling us with a warm welcome. The establishment offers 22 rooms and 3 quiet apartments, for a comfortable stay on the themes of travel, trains and mountains - an obvious reference to its surroundings. And after a day outdoors, there's nothing better than relaxing in the spa area. What a pleasure to swim in the indoor pool with its beautiful exposed beams!

La Fayet is down the valley from the main town of Saint Gervais. There is a free bus service from La Poste nearby, but we enjoyed the hikes up to the town. There are a couple of nice trails - one behind the Spa Thermale, and the other up the side of the tram de Mont Blanc.
