The Domaine Fritz-Schmitt, a winegrower and harvester for three generations now, is renowned for its Ottrott red wine made from pinot noir. This producer works with other grape varieties that give excellent Alsatian wines: sylvaner, pinot blanc, riesling, gewurztraminer, pinot gris, muscat and the famous crémant d'Alsace. When visiting the cellar, don't miss the wooden barrel carved with characters and a scene from the wedding dinner of Ami Fritz, a remarkable piece dating from 1950.
