Hotel de Bois may not be right by the slopes but Jean-Marc's free shuttle drop-off and collection makes it as if it is. The food is way above standard hotel fayre and rightly has non-residents coming in to eat there. The rooms are clean, spacious and warm.
Came in a group with The Ski gathering as a solo skier, this was the third year running, which should tell you how happy I am with the whole package they offer!

Very Nice familly hotel, staff very kind.
Nice room design. Room cleaning very good. Very nice swimming pool and sauna.
For kids, game room. Our son was very happy.

Super équipe souriante et au petit soin merci pour l'accueil, les chambres sont très propres avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes, et on profite d'une piscine intérieure et sauna, tout est parfait, je recommande vivement ????

Esperienza ottimale, molto vicina a Chamonix, camere belle, colazione buona e sopratutto sauna e piscina fantastiche! Anche il personale molto gentile e disponibile, un ringraziamento speciale ad Aurore che è stata super carina prima ancora che arrivassimo, dalla prenotazione. Ci tornerò sicuramente ⭐️

Les chambres sont très bien, calme, le petit plus...Sauna, hammam, piscine chauffée.

Accueil exceptionnel, chambre et vue magnifique. Petit déjeuner copieux dans une salle très chaleureuse. Nous y sommes allés en septembre 2022 et nous y retournons à noël 2023.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the start and end of my TMB trek. Simple and rustic hotel, with a clean and comfortable room. They have a heated indoor pool and the on-site restaurant is very good. Hotel provides a bus pass to use for going to Chamonix (or anywhere else along the bus route). Wifi was reasonable and front desk staff were friendly.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel grâce à une Smartbox qu’on nous a offert, ce qui me permet de mettre 4 et non pas 3. La qualité des chambres ne vaut pas selon moi le prix de la nuit : isolation phonique quasi inexistante, salle de bain au design très vieillissant comparé aux photos et le mobilier extérieur - - -.
Au niveau des équipements de l’hôtel, vous retrouvez un ascenseur. Également un bar et un restaurant que nous n’avons pas eu le temps de tester.
Le petit déjeuner est assez basique, pas énormément de choix (croissant, baguette, confitures, pâte à tartiner, fromage blanc, salade de fruit, yaourt, pommes, fromage et jambon), mais vous l’aurez compris, il ne mérite pas son prix selon moi.
La piscine a l’air d’avoir été laissée à l’abandon bien qu’elle soit utilisée (nous avons séjourné en août), le + c’est que vous avez des serviettes directement à disposition dans la piscine! L’espace détente comprends une piscine, des transats (pas bien pratique mais ils sont là) ainsi qu’un petit sauna. Cet espace mériterait une petite rénovation également et n’est pas aussi agréable que sur les photos.
En revanche, le personnel est très très sympathique et on sait à quel point c’est important!

Magnifique hôtel. Le personnel est accueillant et très sympathique. La cuisine est savoureuse. Les chambres sont très confortable et très calme. Nous avons pu nous détendre en fin de journée à la piscine. Je vous le recommande vivement.

Great hotel! Friendly staff. Big indoor pool and sauna. Dinner was buffet style and yummy, same with breakfast. Our room was clean and such a nice view. Dog friendly.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel y est parfaitement agréable; le restaurant très bon. La localisation est centrale.

Hotel très charmant avec une jolie vue sur le massif du Mont-Blanc.
Chambre un peu petite mais très confortable, lit de bonne qualité.
Personnel extrêmement sympathique.
Nous n’avons malheureusement pas pu tester la piscine, étant arrivés tard et repartis tôt. Nul doute qu’elle doit être très agréable.
Restaurant excellent et bar à l’intérieur de l’établissement.
Nous reviendrions avec joie :)

A mini bus to take us to the different areas too!
And what a bonus a swimming pool - thanks so much - I couldn’t have asked for a better trip
