A magnificent chalet, well located in the Perrière district. A fine example of the traditional architecture of La Clusaz - with its carved wooden balconies decorated with flowers in summer -, the hotel La Montagne rents comfortable and cosy rooms offering a panoramic view of the Aravis mountains and the start of the ski slopes. In the living room with fireplace, a friendly bar area and a billiard table help to create a real relaxing atmosphere, ideal for vacations. A hotel that does not forget its cuisine quality, where the chef prepares some good local specialities in ambitious and successful compositions: reblochon candies, rabbit pressed with Apremont jelly herbs, apple and celery reblochon croustine, pork filet mignon with grape juice, duck breast with cranberries and, finally, white chocolate and raspberry fondant, Belle Hélène pears... A good address in the center of the resort and, a little further, the south-facing terrace for a relaxing break!

We were staying for a group celebration and for one night only.
The hotel’s staff is friendly, the buffet was simple but tasty with a good selection of local wines.
The rooms are typical for this type of hotel, cleanliness could be improved, and the bathroom should get a good refresh.
The hotel’s location is nice, at the heart of the village and with everything you need around within a 5 minutes’ walk.
Obviously, one very attractive point is the view on the surrounding mountains, a must see!
Salle de bain un peu désuète mais propre et lits confortables. Je reviendrai.
