Restaurant overlooking the shore of the Confins lake with a sunny terrace inviting you to taste its specialties.

The Chalet du Lac looks like a house at the end of the world, overlooking the Confins lake, in the heart of the beautiful Aravis nature reserve. At the end of a magnificent walk around the lake, you can sit on the sunny terrace or, in the evening, in one of the intimate rooms. We let ourselves be tempted by one of the restaurant's specialties like this rustic plate of white tomme with potato fritters and cold cuts, or this beautiful fricassee of caïon - the pig in Savoyard patois - accompanied by the traditional Savoyard gratin. A nice gourmet interlude!

Ce restaurant situé au dessus de la Clusaz au lac des Confins est de toute beauté et se fait mériter, accès par un petit chemin caillouteux mais carrossable, avec petit parking, vue magnifique sur le plateau des confins, son lac et ses montagnes alentours, randonnées possibles pour vous mettre en appétit. Sinon question assiette, le ravissement, bien sûr la cuisine régionale en avant mais aussi du traditionnel de haute qualité et quantité (les gros mangeurs seront ici satisfaits). Tout est "fait maison", de plus on vous explique les plats et les mets lors de votre choix, de nombreux gratins, de belles viandes, une charcuterie de haute volée, les desserts excellents , tout pour vous satisfaire. Etablissement tenu par un couple dynamique très sympa, tout en sourire, endroit convivial. Service assez rapide pour un établissement de montagne. Les prix ne sont pas bon marché, mais acceptables quand même, il y a la qualité ici et en montagne surtout à la Clusaz tout se paye.
