MUSEUM OF NATURE
At the boundary of the Regional Natural Park of the Bauges, between Annecy and Aix-les-Bains, the Nature Museum has discovered the regional fauna of more than 200 animals found dead, naturalized and assembled on 300 m 2 for over 20 years. Your visit: After being greeted by farm animals, the forest discovers its fauna with wild boar, deer, and lynx. Then we enter the land of middle mountain animals, sheep sheep, marmot, great crow. These are then animals of wetlands, ducks, herons, ragondins. Fact sheets allow to follow their lives. A collection of minerals and insects completes the museum and, from April to October, the lives of more than 20 000 bees are observed through the glass walls of a hive, beekeeper equipment, modern or old hives complete the visit.
