Joël, a passionate cook, and Thierry his accomplice, whose numerous Hawaiian shirts and humour give the service a very pleasant casual air, run the Chalet Gourmand. A chalet made of wood and brick, with a mountain decoration enhanced with cosy touches, to savour several versions of Savoyard specialities. From the most traditional and unmissable: plain Savoyard fondue, with ceps, chanterelles and morels, tartiflette, reblochonnade, berthoud, raclette; to the most confidential such as this meat gallows. Always quality products. We also love classic dishes such as perch fillet with crayfish, beef tartar cut with a knife or Rossini style beef burger (with foie gras). The salads are generous and fish lovers are not forgotten. Local products for a traditional cuisine whose à la carte dishes vary according to the seasons. The shaded and flowered terrace is a delight in summer. A restaurant that lives up to its name!
