With its ideal location, in the city centre, near the Geneva international airport, Lake Geneva (Evian, Annecy), 30 minutes from the ski resorts, one hour from Italy (by Mont-Blanc tunnel), the La Place hotel is the ideal place to spend a weekend, or a week, or even for business trips. Created on November 5th, 1974, this hotel has kept its "character" through the years while renovating its style, just "to stay fashionable". If its outdoor appearance on the first look is reminiscent of a brasserie, the identity of the address is well highlighted (displayed three times). The keys to the bedrooms are suspended at the reception; the welcome is friendly. Two small lounge areas, including a lounge bar on the first floor, and the breakfast room, are in a baroque style with chocolate colour, red walls, wood panelling, with some lighter colours: white, salmon pink, off white. To access the bedrooms, you will cross a corridor with orange tones. The bedrooms themselves are simple, with good bedding and equipped (bathroom, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, telephone, safe, air conditioning). In the morning, do not miss the simple or the buffet breakfast (fruit juice, coffee or tea, hot chocolate, pastries...), it makes you feel happy for the rest of the day! The hotel, in addition to its friendly service and the concern for its guests' well-being, offers evenings in collaboration with two restaurants nearby: Barto (Bouchon lyonnais) and National (premium Brasserie). Contrary to public opinion, even if the hotel is located in the city centre, it is really soundproofed, and it is a quiet and sunny place (even in winter). It is hard to find a place with a better quality-price ratio.
