Abbey of Abondance endowed with a small museum of religious art and ludic spaces, offering an in-depth visit, free or guided.
Founded in the 12th century, the Abbey of Abondance reveals the refined elegance of its Gothic cloister, adorned with polychrome frescoes where saints, angels and biblical scenes come to life under the luminous arcades. The abbey church, sober and luminous, features precious, meticulously sculpted Baroque altarpieces. Blonde stone and carved wood create an atmosphere of contemplation, emotion and admiration. Exhibitions, concerts and events punctuate the visit, offering a spiritual, cultural and artistic journey to the heart of Savoy's living heritage.
