Tribute to Vercors resistance fighters at Vassieux-en-Vercors cemetery.
It is the cemetery of the victims of the 1944 fighting, located at the entrance of the village of Vassieux-en-Vercors, at the crossroads that leads to the Memorial of the Resistance. In this place of memory and remembrance, the flame of remembrance burns. This necropolis keeps the memory of the Vercors resistance fighters, freedom fighters. There are 187 graves, each marked with a white cement cross. Higher up you will find the Departmental Museum of the Resistance in Vercors.
