FROMAGERIE LA CHAZÈRE
The cheese dairy on avenue Victor Hugo has changed hands and name. It's now called La Chazère, in reference to the name given on farms to a cage or screened area where cheeses are dried. Chrystelle Coutif and Xavier Louison offer around a hundred mature cheeses and quality grocery products... A wide range of goat's milk cheeses (farmhouse), from the Drôme and Ardèche regions, and raw milk cheeses. Short-run products include jams from the Drôme, honeys and beers from Chabeuil, chestnut cream from Aubenas, yogurts from Léoncel, artisan crackers from Gras, spreads from Montmeyran...

For small pleasures or big occasions, Chrystelle and Xavier will present you their selection of local cheeses, farmhouse cheeses made from raw milk, as well as a special selection for future mothers. On order, they will make your trays: end of meal, family events, mixed or 100% cheese appetizers, raclette trays, set pieces... a small range of local products will complete your shopping: Charpey's pork-butchery, Ardèche chips, Drôme spreads, fruit juices, beer, wines... and to finish, a delicious Terre Adélice ice-cream!
