Mas Théo is the result of the heritage of three family farms: the Théolas, specializing mainly in sheep rearing; the Clapiers, with vines and cereals; and the Bes, with sheep, cereals and vines. When Laurent, the last descendant of the Clapier family, took over in 1999, he integrated winemaking into the estate's activities. Mas Théo produces straightforward, affordable AOP Grignan-les-Adhémar wines, organic since 2004 and biodynamic since 2012, matured in cool, damp old chalk rock quarries.
