Located on the Plateau des Couleurs, known for its shopping areas, Primeur du Chantre brings a touch of freshness and terroir to this site in the hills above Valence. Here, fruit and vegetables from both local and foreign producers are showcased. The team is friendly, dynamic and knowledgeable about a wide variety of early produce. We also offer a selection of fresh produce and regional products. Open for some twenty years, the store has just undergone a major renovation.

Specialist in fruits and vegetables, Au Primeur du Chantre respects the seasonality and favors local production.
Among the regional products offered, you will find many specialities from Drôme and Ardéchois (Caillette, Nougat, Clairette de Die, Crème de marron, Ravioles, Olive oil from Nyons, Picodon, Beers from Ardèche, ....) and regional (Bigallet syrup, Walnut cream and oil, ...).
Because of our desire to promote local and French production, we offer meat (poultry, beef, lamb, pork) directly from the farmers as well as many fresh dairy products (whole milk, butter, cream, cheese, ....).
All year long and for any occasion, we propose to make fruit baskets and baskets of regional products, according to your wish and budget.
