The route de Combe-Laval, a picturesque, vertiginous road in Saint-Jean-en-Royans.
Combe-Laval is a grandiose, listed site. The combe plunges more than 4 km into the massif, creating a spectacular cirque. The road of the same name, like those of the Grands Goulets and the Bourne, is one of the most popular tourist routes. The Combe-Laval road was dug out in the 19th century. It took 50 years to link Saint-Jean-en-Royans and the Col de la Machine. From the Col de Gaudissart, 600 m above the entrance to the combe, eleven tunnels were dug into the rock! A picturesque and breathtaking route.
