THE ROAD TO COMBE-LAVAL
Go there and contact
The route de Combe-Laval, a picturesque, vertiginous road in Saint-Jean-en-Royans.
The Combe-Laval is an imposing, listed site that plunges more than 4 km into the massif, carving out a spectacular cirque. The road of the same name, like those of the Grands Goulets and the Bourne, is one of the most popular tourist routes. The Combe-Laval road was dug in the 19th century. It took 50 years to link Saint-Jean-en-Royans and the Col de la Machine. From the Col de Gaudissart, 600 m above the entrance to the combe, eleven tunnels were dug into the rock! A picturesque and breathtaking route.
