It is the sixth cave of France with a development of 50 km and 547 m of depth. The guided tour starts from the parking lot where the life of the charcoal makers is evoked. Then, at the entrance of the cave, we talk about the Resistance: the cave, a fallback base for the military hospital of Saint-Martin-en-Vercors, was stormed by the Germans on July 27, 1944. The cave of the Luire, a superb underground cavity, can be discovered in sound and light... with a lantern! Also a program of night visits with torches and sports visits.

La visite commence par un atelier de fabrication de bougie qui servira à nous éclairer dans la grotte. Après un rappel historique, nous commençons à descendre à la recherche du cours d’eau qui peut inonder la vallée. Température 8 degrés. Une belle découverte avec un guide dynamique et plein d’humour.
