A chairlift ride out of winter season, to enjoy an extraordinary panorama at the top. Departure towards the High Plateaux of Vercors, you can go back down on foot by a hiking trail, or else: go up by chairlift with your mountain bike and ride down the slopes on the pedals. Be careful to protect yourself with at least a helmet. It is also possible to rent a Trottin'herbe at the foot of the slopes where helmets are provided. And off you go for a really fun descent. Great with family or friends to enjoy a good breath of fresh air!

COL DE ROUSSET (ALT. 1 255 M-1 700 M)

Skiing rentals ski areas and lessons

This small resort is home to a few buildings, including an inn, a bar, an equipment rental company, etc. The Col de Rousset is appreciated by families, especially for its very affordable rates. It offers a vast and wild alpine ski area, with 29 trails and a Nordic area with 12 km of marked trails and 15 km of paths reserved for snowshoeing. Experienced sportsmen can even leave from the Rousset pass to cross the Vercors High Plateaux by ski touring. In summer, families are also welcome with multiple possibilities to spend a day in the mountains for a hike, a picnic or more. You can take the chairlift, go back down on a scooter, try your hand at drop bag or pumptrack, go tobogganing, play a series of free wooden games. New in 2022: the Explor Game with digital tablet (see at the tourist office) to discover the Vercors in a different way and to discover the Fabulous Mysteries of this fabulous massif. More than one animation and more than one reason to reach the Rousset pass and to pass this tunnel at the entrance (or the exit!) from which you have an exceptional aerial panorama on the Diois.

Have the green reflex: opt for the shuttle which can take you to the Col de Rousset from Crest, Saillans, Mirabel and Blacons, Espenel, Die and on the Vercors side from Vassieux, la Chapelle and Saint Agnan (and vice versa).
