Museum housing over 2,000 everyday objects, traditional clothing, kitchen utensils, farming tools, etc.
Located at the foot of the ruins of the medieval castle of Rochechinard, in the former 18th-century presbytery, this small museum, which has been in existence since 1979, recreates the memory of the Royans region through over 2,000 everyday objects, traditional clothing, kitchen utensils, farming tools, etc., as well as the reconstruction of a 19th-century dwelling (bedroom, silkworm nursery, kitchen...). A look back at the harsh, self-sufficient living conditions of the inhabitants of this long isolated region.
